This animation provides a glimpse of the interactive visualisation Re:Log created by Open Data City in collaboration with Re:Publica. It describes the movements of attendees at the 2013 Re:publica conference, showing the approximate locations of the devices when they were connected to local Wi-Fi hotspots. The visualisation was based on tracking the MAC addresses of the devices according to the Wi-Fi hotspot they were connected to.
The animation was produced by Tactical Technology Collective and Klaas Diersmann.
