"Been Trying To Meet You" (2016) is a silent film in three chapters, produced for the Galerie d'art Louise-et-Reuben-Cohen as part of the gallery’s “An Inventory” project, January – March 2016.
The video / animation engages with unidentified objects found in the gallery’s collection, accompanied by drum covers of the Pixies song “Hey,” taken off YouTube. When screened publicly, the work was synched with live drum covers performed by sophia bartholomew.
