Where to begin… We make packs, and damn good ones at that. We’ve done it for over 40 years now and our focus remains the same. But how? Better sounds nice, but what does it mean and how do we do it? How do we make a pack more durable and lightweight? More comfortable with less clutter and improved function, but still sexy.
We do it by failing a thousand times, then we try again. And again. To this day, no one executes manufacturing in a more comprehensive and holistic way. We are never satisfied; good is the enemy of great, and great isn’t good enough for us.
We aren’t thinking of what’s next, we are thinking about what comes after that. While others race to catch up, we have already moved on.
Why do we do this?
It has always, even from the beginning, been about the experience. Building a better mousetrap. Bringing concept to life through creativity, hard work, and perseverance. It’s knowing that every pack we make will eventually be a part of something much larger than we could ever imagine. When we hold a new pack in our hands, we don’t see webbing, nylon, zippers and graphics. We see limitless possibility.
We see wild times in distant lands, new cultures and experiences. Idyllic moments in wildflower-filled meadows as the sun slips below the horizon. Shared moments with close friends. We feel the wind on our faces as we pause to rest, and the stirring inside that drives us forward, always.
We are Osprey. We are artists, athletes, engineers, designers, photographers, professionals, dirt bags and nerds. We don’t fit the mold, we create it for whatever you aspire to do; in the outdoors, around the globe, and throughout your life.
We create it for you.
