On Christmas Eve of 2015, Tin Man ventured to the remote Falkland Islands, accompanied by parents, both in their late 60s. All he was looking for was a relaxed vacation, a break from his hectic life. Instead, the group was hit with a series of mishaps, including fever, flu, knee and back injuries, cancelled flights, near-death experiences in the rough terrain under harsh weather, and a number of close calls with wild animals. Through sheer perseverance and a relentless obsession with capturing the best photos possible, he confronted one obstacle after another. In the end, the trip would forever change his perspective on wildlife photography, and transform him and his parents, helping them to understand the most important things in life.
