4 Direction Punch (Saju Jirugi) and 4 direction Block (Saju Makgi) and fundamental exercises for the beginner (white belt). They are both requirements for grading from 10th gup (white belt) to 9th gup (Yellow Stripe). Right and left sides of both are are performed (normally starting with the right side).
