Teater Albatross - 12 years in Africa.
The film tells about three African plays by Teater Albatross, 2000 - 2012, played in Cameroon and Congo DRC.
It tells about the plays "KONGO" and "Mary Kingsley" that have toured Congo DRC, and about "Beyond the Sea", a play about a fishing village in Cameroon.
KONGO, specially describing - in a poetical way - Congo's history under Leopold the Second, has been touring Congo a lot. One tour, in June 2011, was a part of Congo's 50 years sovereign state anniversary.
Mary Kingsley, about the extraordinary English explorer, full of love and respect for the Africans, also toured a lot, very successfully, in Congo.
Beyond the Sea, tells about the overfishing taking place along Cameroon's Atlantic coast. The play has toured a lot in Cameroon. A Cameroonian theatre troup Theatre du Chocolat, has adopted our play, in their version it's been played in different African festivals etc.
