Belle Plagne is where it all started for Ski 2 Freedom’s Founder Catherine Cosby. It was the first time she came across a sit-ski being guided by an instructor from ESF Belle Plagne and sensed immediately as to how this experience could benefit young people - not just for children like Phoebe with Cerebral Palsy, but also for any disability or those in need of assistance. Also seeing one of France’s much decorated Paralympic medalist and ESF ski instructor Lionel Brun at his ‘welcome home’ party in Belle Plagne also gave a raison d’être for starting the Foundation.
