Painter Profiles - Tim Vyner

Tim Vyner is a reportage artist who captures street scenes often around large sporting events. His work typically contains people in a wide landscape composition, whether captured around a World Cup, on the streets of Africa, the jungles of Borneo, or the changing communities and architecture in East London for 2012 Olympic Games. Working as a reportage artist he is most effective with a pen, a sketchbook and a camera to recreate the colour and atmosphere he experiences on location. In this documentary Tim is filmed working in his hometown of Bath as he begins ideas and takes them back to develop further in his garden shed studio.
