Australian Field Recording Artist Lawrence English lectures on sound recording techniques with various recording devices. Lawrence English led a group of 20 participants around Rosewood Neighborhood Park and Boggy Creek in East Austin on Sunday April 24th 2016. An exercise in listening and recording, participants carried their own field recording devices and practiced how to record sounds in nature, including water, wind, birds, crickets and resonances beneath a highway, on a bridge and other electromagnetic frequencies.
