STRIKE PENRHYN (2016) is an artistic response to Penrhyn Castle, North Wales by Robyn Woolston.
As the recipient of the National Trust Arts Council Wales Artist in Residence programme she has undertaken a 6 month period of embedded research that places in parallel the history of the castle against the narrative of the Great Penrhyn Strike of 1900 - 1903.
Her journey has included filming what was once the largest quarry in the world alongside interviewing a former quarryman who worked onsite for 49 years.
