A series of timelapse and other clips from my 16,291 mile (95 day) Scoot for Charity from Washington DC to the Arctic Circle and back on an 8hp scooter. To find out more check out scootforcharity.com
Much of the trip was made in adverse weather conditions with extreme rain and thus many days were traveled without recording video (including almost all of the Alaska Highway both directions). Nearing the end of the trip I started to have many A/V issues including problems with my DSLR and corruption on my 8GB MiniSD card preventing me from filming additional video, very frustrating.
For awesome photos from the trip, check out my Facebook albums (facebook.com/trackpete) and for more detailed videos check out my Vimeo albums for this adventure (Scoot for Charity).
Filmed almost completely with my ContourHD 720p camera, mounted on a tripod or on my handlebar mount. Supplemental video filmed with a Canon T2i DSLR.
Music tracks are chiptune tracks by Micro Invasion and Sputnik Booster courtesy of the Free Music Archive (freemusicarchive.org).
The scooter ridden in this video is a Genuine Rattler 110. genuinescooters.com
