FotografiSenzaFrontiere ONLUS (a Non-Profit Organization) opens permanent photographic labs wherever there is need for self-representation or to recover memories, to train professional photographers and to offer dignity and self-esteem. Through these laboratories, FSF trains children and teenagers for a profession, so that they are not simply the subject of communication, but rather the lead actors in their own stories. The philosophy of FSF rests firmly on the conviction that the photographer can and must generate the force of seeing, thinking and doing. To make communication free and accessible to those who, until now, have only been subjected to it so that in the near future they can express their point of view. Often, in emergency situations, the most important thing that is lost is not only food or even health: it is identity. Restoring identity to those who have lost theirs is the objective of FSF. Because sometimes help means go over the limits of our look.
