PLANE—SITE travelled to the Skyscraper Museum in New York City to document WOHA Architects first major exhibition in the United States. Titled “Garden City, Mega City” the instillation presents twelve of their most recent vertical ecosystems.
The WOHA founders (Wong Mun Summ and Richard Hassell) unveil a new method of city planning that blends the earlier architectural movements of the garden city and hyper-dense mega city to bring a more natural quality of life to large populations. Their method is developed in response to the growing urban crisis in the era of global warming in a way that prioritizes sustainability and socialibility.
