GRISAILLEY The work deals with a naive perception on mixing colours with light. The title of the work is a wordplay with the term Grisaille describing the act of painting entirely with neutral gray colours. The work consists from overlapping two channel video projection - On the first layer (channel) you see black and white footage of blooming spring plants and trees . The second layer (channel) is footage of handheld primary colour filters on neutral background. With the approach of mixing warm and cold colour shades in random order over monochrome recognisable elements i confront the viewer with the conditioning of his own perception.
