Fay came to climbing and backcountry skiing a bit later than most but being retired she is able to get out as often as the weather is decent (and sometimes when it isn't). She seems hell bent on making up for lost time- not only because she spends more time out in the mountains than at home but also because of the ferocious pace at which she moves on foot or on skis. When she can't find someone to go with her she just heads out alone (Fay has summited 71 of Washington's 100 Highest Peaks solo). Weather permitting, Fay always documents her outings with great pictures. This video includes a tiny fraction of the pictures that she posts along with her very descriptive trip reports (maps of routes included).
