The Teacher Inquiry Workshop as developed in the University of Maryland Writing Project includes these features: 1) draw from best practice, 2) re-design for adult learners, 3) experience the best practice, 4) theorize the practice, 5) discuss possible applications, & 6) maintain inquiry focus to counteract presentational delivery and to maintain dialogic interaction in the construction of knowledge that can be applied in situated contexts.
