Perfectly Flawed is a behind the scenes glimpse into the making of Susan Crawford' book, The Vintage Shetland Project, an exploration of 27 pieces from the Textile Archive of the Shetland Museum. The film documents the photo shoots for the book which took place on the beautiful remote island of Vaila, off the coast of Shetland. A location which became much more than just the backdrop for the photographs, but an inspiration for the whole project. The film shows the stunning locations, and a sneak peek at the incredible jumpers which will be inside the book, showing how the scenery and history of Shetland is reflected in the patterns, colours and designs in the knitwear.
