"The idea is called Biomeiler. It was invented by a french guy called Jean Pain.
You compost green wood chippings in a large pile, the so called Meiler. The resulting warmth of the composting process (over 70°C) is derived from a tube coiled inside the meiler which heats the water running through it. Eventually one is left with finest compost loaded with effective microorganisms."
