Hello dear viewer,
We are Anaïs and Adrien, aspiring dancers and choreographers from Switzerland!
Being constantly in a long-distance relationship, we met this autumn after months apart and choreographed this piece that seemed to fit both our moods at the time. We are both in an ascending phase in the fulfillment of our dreams as dancers and people, and meet disappointments and successes alike.
What we aimed to express in this piece is the idea of the constant strife between dreams and reality that an aspiring artist meets in his daily life. Beyond the result itself, whether they get realized or go unfulfilled, it is the ability to dream, wish and let the imagination loose we think is the whole point of artistry.
This piece is a little offer of gratitude to everyone and everything that inspires us as people or dancers, and our very modest tribute to a monument of French culture and music, Charles Aznavour. Thank you for watching!
