RAHMAN HAK-HAGIR (May 15, 1972) is an Austrian-born Vienna-based half-afghan conceptual and performance artist who began his career in 1990. His work; focussing on the conflicting priorities between individual and social environment - is featured in international museums like MONA Detroit (USA) and MUAB Ruden (Austria) as much as in private and institutional collections. His latest shows, performances and artist collaborations took place in Milan, Kopenhagen, Dijon, Hong Kong, Beijing, Tbilisi, Berlin, New York, Jakarta and Moscow. Rahman Hak-Hagir is one of the founding members of the international artist collective, known as known as THE OTHER SOCIETY.
LENA CATALINA STAN is a Romanian-born (26. 05. 1985), Austrian-based performance artist, conceptual photographer and floral architect. Her work also focusses on integrative installations and public interventions – investigating life itself and its artificial and original nature.
THE OTHER SOCIETY is an INTERNATIONAL ARTIST COLLECTIVE as much as an expanding ARTISTIC UTOPIA that sends out clues and messages to the real world – to prosper.
