The annual Human Welfare Conference at Green Templeton College brings together leading student scholars, academics and practitioners from around the globe to debate issues that shape human welfare in the contemporary world. The Conference seeks to encourage and recognize original work in human welfare, foster dialogue on current research and develop new networks both within and outside the University of Oxford. It also aims to offer graduate participants a range of opportunities for personal and professional development.
The Conference takes place in the historic Radcliffe Observatory at Green Templeton College, one of Oxford’s newest and most dynamic colleges whose core subject focus is human welfare.
This year's speakers included: Professor Sir Michael Marmot, Professor Danny Dorling, Professor Frances Stewart, Professor Carles Muntaner, Professor Avinash Dixit and many others including members of parliament and representatives from NGO's and international organizations and governmental agencies.
