The 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale featured 61 national pavilions. These pavilions were curated by Alejandro Aravena under the theme of Reporting from the Front.
ADD.LOCUS co-founders Alex Ellenberger and Makoto Saito, along with curator Andres F. Ramirez (PLANE—SITE), discuss their exhibition depicting the architectural response to constraints posed by the rain and the sea in the Seychelles. Their instillation reflects the relationship of both dependence and desire between the inhabitants of the Seychelles and water.
