Jacqueline Ball's work has been included in group exhibitions such as 'Primavera 2013' (Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney), 'Bliss' (Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery, 2013), 'Dusk to Dark' (Queensland Centre for Photography, 2014), 'Remix' (Art Gallery of Western Australia, 2011) and 'Transcendental: New Australian Abstract Photography' (Javis Dooney Galerie, Berlin). She held solo shows at Turner galleries, Edmund Pearce in Melbourne, Gallery Central and Perth Centre for Photography. She was recently awarded the 2016 City of Perth Architectural Photographic commission and had her work included in TAR Magazine (Italy) where she had a double page image in an issue curated by David Lynch. Her work has been collected by the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Art Gallery of Western Australia, Artbank, Kerry Stokes, Westfarmers, Central Institute of Technology and University of Western Australia. Jacqueline has undertaken studio residencies at Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts, the Association of Icelandic Visual Artists, Reykjavík, and Villa Sillanpää, regional Finland. She is currently a PhD candidate at Curtin University, where she also teaches a photography class. Other studies include a MFA at RMIT in 2012 and a BA (Art) (Honours) degree from Curtin in 2009.
