PORTFOLIO DAYS & NIGHT
Friday 13 May 2016 - Saturday 14 May 2016
Portfolio review, screenings, awards, music, food&drinks at Pomhouse/CNA
Centre national de l’audiovisuel (CNA) presents the fifth edition of PORTFOLIO DAYS & NIGHT on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th of May, 2016.
In the exceptional surrounding of the Waassertuerm + Pomhouse, the biennial event is a forum for contemporary photography, offering to thirty international photographers both visibility and an opportunity to present their work to an international jury composed by various experts of the field (agencies, magazines, publishers, commissioners, cultural institutions, galleries, etc.).
At the end of the PORTFOLIO DAYS, on Saturday, May 14th, we open our doors to the public for an evening that has become a rendezvous in Luxembourg, the PORTFOLIO NIGHT. In a friendly and festive atmosphere the public is welcomed to discover the work of the participating photographers.
The evening was accompanied by the young musicians of Napoleon Gold and Annemie Osbourn, who have scored an original soundtrack for the occasion. The event was also an opportunity to have a glimpse at our collections and a selection from our photographic archive.

Electronica / Luxembourg
Bewitching arrangements, warm low-pitched vocal samples and rousing percussions are NAPOLEON GOLD's favorite tools when producing their ambient electronic tracks. Before being a duo, NAPOLEON GOLD was the solo project of the electronic producer Antoine Honorez, who worked on remixes and collaborations with Sun Glitters or Monsoon Siren, opened for London Grammar, Glass Animals, Son Lux, SOHN, and played in various festivals in Europe such as the Liverpool Soundcity Festival (UK), Nordik Impakt (Fr), Galapagai Festival (Lt), Rock A Field (Lu), ...
Since February 2015, Jerome Klein (Piano/Percussions) joined NAPOLEON GOLD, adding intensity and character to the live performances. The mix between electronic sounds, guitars, piano, percussions and subtle improvisations make each show a unique experience.
Antoine Honorez (guitar, keyboard, percussions, computer stuff)
Jérôme Klein (drums, keyboard, percussions)
Special Guest : Annemie Osbourne (cello)
