Tech Success is a partnership between CHS and Microsoft to teach at-risk youth ages 13-21 technology skills. This project will provide access to today’s technology, access to Learning Labs, exposure to online training /tutorials, achievement-based incentives and access to Subject Matter Experts. Youth will learn computer basics and digital literacy, the program focuses on engagement of the Internet, Websites and Cloud Services. Participants will also learn the MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Additional learning opportunities include resume writing and interviewing skills, living in a digital lifestyle, building apps, creating on-line games, graphic design, computer programming and networking so that disadvantaged youth can bridge the technology gap.
