On 8 & 9 Nov 2010 I was fortunate to be invited to a conference in Macau ... organised by Follett and designed to support Librarians. This was not only to support the use of Destiny but a wider professional development event.

I facilitated a couple of sessions myself on 'Video in the Library' and 'Screencasting in the Library'

One theme during the two days was "What Advice Should be Given to a New Librarian or Teacher Librarian"

This video is one of the outcomes of that sharing ... a copy of the video is also available at my Youtube Channel youtube.com/shamblesguru

Doug Johnson (USA) and Lee Fitzgerald (Australia) also sent in audio suggestions which can be listened to at shambles.podbean.com/

The Twitter stream also came up with some offerings which can be seen at tweetchat.com/room/ifollett10macau

Other information can be found by using the hashtag #ifollett10macau in Google

By looking at the collaborative conference notes (backchannel tool) at shambles.titanpad.com/ifollett10macau

It looks like Follett run these iFollett events throughout the year ... not just in the USA but Globally.

... and if any of the attendees are reading this then (from me) ... thanks for sharing.
