This is an abbreviated version of a longer audiovisual performance piece. The piece explores themes of presence, memory and perception by experimenting with 3D as a medium onto itself. The piece attempts to push the limits of what constitutes acceptable 3D footage, and what can be perceived in 3D.
The 3D is based on the ColorCode 3D anaglyphe, so amber/blue vs. the more typical red/blue. I believe these glasses where given out during the Superbowl in the US, and during "The Queen in 3D" from the CBC in Canada. Also available from the NFB.
