STATEMENT
Clear Blue is a thesis film made by five MFA students pursuing a degree from the American Film Institute Conservatory. Contrasting a fly on the wall realism with a twist of fantasy, this drama explores the consequences of pursuing a love that was not meant to be. Clear Blue targets both a male and female audience ages 14-60.

Clear Blue is an unusual and ambitious student film. Taking place in a world that blends fantasy and reality, Clear Blue tells a relatable story of two lovers and the metaphorical boundaries that keep them apart. Standing out above other short films, Clear Blue hits the festival circuit in fall, 2010.
