On Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at 1:30pm, I was given the go ahead to produce a promo for a HUGE undercover operation that only ABC30 in Fresno had access to.
Here's the timeline of the day:
*1:30pm - Got the go ahead to produce the promo
1:30pm - 2pm - Develop and write the script and get it approved.
2:15pm - Voice session with out voice talent.
2:20pm - 4:30pm - Get with the news photographer who shot the video and transfer it to my Final Cut system. Edited and create graphics with Final Cut Pro and After Effects CS4.
4:30pm - 4:50pm - Have promo approved by department heads and converted and exported to the playback server to air during the 5pm newscast.
*On a typical day, I would have from 8am to 5pm to produce a promo. This one...I only had 2 1/2 hours.
