Six projection mapped video artworks are hidden in a small Australian rainforest, using concealed technology to allow the public to view the artworks without being pulled away from the magic of the surroundings. Nature becomes an art gallery, while also becoming the art itself.
The difference between this and other forest projection videos that you will see (at present date) is the fact that this was an event that people could move through - it was made for viewing live with all technology hidden, it wasn't made just for video documentation.
Event and all artworks by projection artist Alinta Krauth.
Artwork supported by RADF, The Five Senses Festival, and Landcare. This project was specifically made to cause no harm to the rainforest, and it left no trace.
Documentation of event (during daylight hours) and interview audio by Owen Smith of Short Stack Productions.
