• Crazy Cinématographe Revisited & Relooped est une performance audiovisuelle, un regard actuel sur ces fabuleux films qui marquèrent la fin du XIXe et le début du XXe siècle. Le spectacle évoque les cinés-concerts, dynamisés par le veejaying : les films sont découpés, reconstruits en direct ! La création musicale instantanée en offre une relecture contemporaine.
• Crazy Cinématographe Revisited & Reloopedest une œuvre abstraite et spontanée. Cette proposition prolonge le projet Crazy Cinématographe initié par la Cinémathèque de la Ville de Luxembourg.
L’initiateur du projet, Paul Schumacher, est un pionnier dans son domaine : dès 1995, il a réalisé des prestations vidéo en direct. Pour ce projet, il s’est associé au contrebassiste Emmanuel Fleitz, qui propose ses créations sonores éphémères depuis une vingtaine d’années.
Avec le soutien de la Cinémathèque de la Ville de Luxembourg, du Centre culturel « Beim Nëssert » [Bergem], du Centre culturel « Schungfabrik » [Kayl], du Centre national de l’audiovisuel, du FOCUNA et du ministère de la Culture du Luxembourg.

Crazy Cinématographe Revisited & Relooped at Le Grand Festival of Verdun
Emmanuel Fleitz aka Man'ok and Paul Schumacher aka Melting Pol will present a session of Crazy Cinématographe Revisited & Relooped, Friday 15, Saturday 16 and Sunday, July 17, 2016, at Le Grand Festival, former Verdun abattoirs, Commandant-Galland square.
• Crazy Cinématographe Relooped & Revisited is an audiovisual performance, a contemporary look at these fabulous films that marked the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. The show evokes the cine-concerts, boosted by the veejaying: the films are cut, rebuilt live! Instant music creation offers a contemporary reinterpretation.
• Crazy Cinématographe Revisited & Relooped is an abstract and spontaneous work. This proposal extends the Crazy Cinématographe project initiated by the Cinémathèque of Luxembourg City.
The initiator of the project, Paul Schumacher, is a pioneer in its field: since 1995, he has made live video performance. For this project, he joined bassist Emmanuel Fleitz, offering ephemeral sound creations for twenty years.
