A short film for the UN's division dedicated to reducing deforestation and its associated carbon pollution; UN Redd. The brief was to create a film highlighting how working with the Private Sector, rather than against it, would result in swifter and more economical results in reducing deforestation and carbon emissions. Aimed at a wide audience of both government officials, businesses & policy makers it was also designed to educate and inform the wider general public.
Using the analogy that we are only as good as the land we are part of, I designed a world where the figures playing out the story are part of the very trees they are destroying. As a new way of working together emerges, so does more colour and vitality into a world on the brink...
