At the beginning of March 2016, I found a few hours over a weekend to give the Marvin Hamlisch Film Scoring Contest a go, and rescored the hugely successful 'Jinxy Jenkins and Lucky Lou'. I also rerecorded all of the SFX used in the film. My main aim with this was to use as little SFX as possible, telling the story through the score. With something like 300+ entrants, I am thrilled to have been placed in the top 30% of entrants for my debut entry. Although I didn't get through to the final, it was an amazing experience to be working with such an incredible animation and completely redo the audio. Special thanks to the Marvin Hamlisch Film Scoring Contest for the opportunity.
