Up, up, up and away to that faraway land on the horizon where dogs have been told they can play. And there we experienced a perfect day. The sun turned the grass a beautiful green, while gentle breezes brushed past.
It started with our hike to our favorite spot. Thunderina the Young and Alma the Great began play wrestling. Then the Jester Blue pitched in, inciting Alma and Frannie the Small to join a game of chase. Up and down the hillside Great and Small leapt in pursuit of the Jester who deftly zigged and zagged and threw them for a loop. On our merry way, in single file, we trekked until we reached that spot, that sacred earth where toys soar and dreams come true. Tikka, Toby, then Frannie and Beau, don't forget Beau, played fetch, each competing for earth-bound toys. Then Buster and Sasha couldn't hold back and joined their growing number of friends. It wasn't long before Buster the Bayer was chasing Blue. Sasha and Beau sat down for rubs and affection. Thunderina engaged Beau in some fun. Beau was as sweet and gentle as any dog could be. They played so well with each other. Treats for sits, comes and stays were available to all, including Chewy who was enthralled. Yum, sweet potato and duck. We love watching our pals have fun and bringing them home safe and sound.
