Updates are forthcoming- Formed in 1992, Thorns of the Carrion was known as a doom metal band that mixed gothic/neo-classical sounds with doom/death/black metal... the band released "The Gardens of Dead Winter" demo in 1993, that was re-issued by Wild Rags in CA along with some great underground bands in Thergothon, Phlebotomized, Nuclear Death, Impetigo, Abominant, Sigh, and Emperor... The band released a demo in 1995 called "The Willow Weeps for Me" that was accompanied by a short story, and "Darkness in the Elegy Season" in 1995 as well... "The Scarlet Tapestry" full-length in 1997, and the "Eve Songs" Ep in 2000 among many others... The group disbanded in 2002 and briefly returned in 2005 to play shows with EyeHateGod and the Templars of Doom Fest....
