Religion, politics, and money have strongly influenced graphic design. A technologically driven communication scramble turned graphic designers into key influencers of behavior and opinions. Now that existing structures are under pressure, graphic designers are taking social responsibility by connecting ideas, information and, people.
The exhibition shows the various ways in which contemporary designers confront, inform and activate society with current issues. They show their determination to contribute towards change in society and they way we look at design, thus stretching the boundaries of their field.
