How to Make a Custom Cooler | Digital HeatFX
This video is a great demonstration not only of making a custom cooler or promotional product, but of just how universally useful the Digital HeatFX system really is!
It's easy to make a custom flexible cooler with the Digital HeatFX t shirt transfer printing system, and this video walks you through the steps of taking a full color digital color transfer normally used for making custom t shirts, and applying it to a nylon cooler, but that's just the beginning.
You can use your OKI920WT White toner printer and exclusive Laser EZ Peel papers not only to start a custom printed t shirt business, but also to print on promotional products like these. The biggest advantages of suing this system to do color transfers instead of screen printing or direct to garment printing are illustrated right in the video:
- direct to garment printers only print on flat objects. There's just no way to get a three dimensional product like this into one.
- direct to garment printers cannot print on nylon or neoprene. There are no fibers for the dtg ink to latch onto, so the image wont hold
- screen printers would never do a small order and it's too expensive to set up screens to test. because of the initial set up time and cost, you won't find a screen printer that tests these different substrates anyway!
