This project is a trailer for an animation movie that tells the story of a young homeless boy and his buddy, a rat, in a world of crime and misery. With a strong social statement, the animation takes advantage of the effective power of this media to lead the audience to reflect about the homelessness problem, which is also associated to drug dealing and urban violence. Mixing irreverent scenes with images of real graffiti designed by the author, the chaotic sequences make use of dirt remains and drafts generated during the animation process as part of the film’s visual discourse.
