Project NZ/X is a direct reference to synthesis of the classical music of Chopin with modernity, synthetics, mathematic language and digital chaos, which - whether we like it or not - fills every part of our reality. Despite the theoretical antagonism of the two components, they can co-exist creating new, surprisingly coherent art form of modern times.
The audio track inspired by the music of Chopin and a factor of the machine that runs the image on the assumption of strict synaesthesia - thanks to mathematic algorithms written specifically for this project, music has been subjected to digital manipulation and translated into the "language" of image.
Music video awarded in the "CHOPing" competition organized by Warsaw Electronic Festival together with Zacheta, the Polish National Art Gallery and by ArtMuse Online video competition.
