Solar energy solutions provider SilRay installation array at St. Nicholas Catholic School, located in Los Altos Hills. SilRay founder and CEO, April Zhong message, to further Silray's mission to empower nonprofit corporations to go green...to go solar. The system Silray installed at St. Nicholas is rated at 24kwH, and will produce enough energy to power many of the schools systems, freeing up capital to power other resources such as the school's new computer lab, as well as complimenting the 1 on 1 iPad (per child) program. Equally as important, installing this system at St. Nicholas helps to give the children a better understanding of green energy, and it's importance to the planet.
St. Nicholas's new solar array will amount to:
a. $300,648.00 in electricity savings (lifetime);
b. 25 tons of CO2 offset; and
c. Preservation of 21.2 acres of forest.
