"You said you would have never leave me.
I know. I'm sorry. You have my heart. Since always. When I'll be not here anymore you could still talk to me, and I'll answer. You will see.
And Will I be able to hear you?
Yes. Of course you will hear me, would be like if we talk to each other with our minds. And you will see you will hear me.You will need a bit of training, but don't give up. Ok?
Ok. I'm so scared Dad.
I know. But everything will be all right. You will be lucky. I know you will. Now for me it's better to stop talking or I will start to cough again.
All right Dad. There is no need to talk. Don't you worry.
Time ago I decided that was the time for me to start this yourney; I knew I wouldn't have need any transport, even if the distance and the goal were unknown. No need for a ticket, just my luggage full of memories and emotions of long passed years.
Every stop was a flashback; some of them were a must, to try again the sweet and sour taste of it, melancholic sensations, not moments.
To stop was hard for me and increased the regret of what it's not and will never been, becasue there's no way to escape your destiny.
I got emotional to have seen myself kid again, I peeked from a car window that got cloudy from the rain drops. I traced back my past years until the last stop, the '96, when the kid leave the seat to the man I'm today, in the same moment another man left, to complete that journey, with no way back, where the one day ticket is issued when you make your first wailing.
But maybe that's a dream, that's why I feel numb. Are we maybe just sleeeping or dreaming? Who knows, maybe forever..
The last stop is waiting for me, I will have to get off one day, but it will only be to start all over again, and try to be all you have left me. The journey will never end, beacuse when I will stop dreaming of you; you will start dreaming of me; and we will be together again, like always, since always.
The Last Exit will available in 30 copies signed and numbered from 2016 18 September.
