Veneers are not a commodity. I mean, let's be honest with you. It takes a lot of skill, and a lot of expertise, to be able to do it correctly. Not every dentist can do a porcelain veneer well. They don't have the skill, they don't have the training, they don't know what they don't know. It's a lot cheaper to do it right the first time than to go somewhere and have someone who doesn't know what they're doing put a veneer on, at the expense of tooth structure and irreversible damage to the tooth, as well as the additional expense of having it done once and then having to come back and redo it. I mean, let's be honest. It's better not to economize when you're trying to do something with your smile.
