This is a short time-lapse film experiment, using footage I shot in Barcelona, Spain on November 12, 2010. (I had meant to stage better shot diversity, but alas my battery drained after a long day touring Figueres and Girona - and this tower goes dark by 22h.)
All the gaussian blurs and post-production fixes in the world could not hide the aliasing/moiré patterns you will see here, which is the Achille's heel of large-sensor digital videography.
The music is composed and performed by R. Luke DuBois. The color grading uses Red Giant Software's Magic Bullet Looks ("Seattle" preset).
Torre Agbar was designed by French architect Jean Nouvel for the Agbar Group, and it stands at the farthest inland edge of the Poblenou neighborhood in Barcelona. The design was inspired by similarly-shaped peaks that loom above the Montserrat monastery outside Barcelona.
