Over 2 months and 8 Saturday group runs, Greensboro runners came together to explore their city. This event turned out to be so much more. Runners connected. Runners got excited about running again. Runners made new friends. Runners reconnected with old friends. Runners learned history they never knew about their city. The runs grew in numbers from 50 for the smallest attendance to over 170 runners for the final run. Over 200 runners participated in all. Over the 8 weeks runners explored 27 neighborhoods, traversed 4 different greenways and learned dozens of historical facts about their city some dating back to the Revolutionary War. A wonderful experience indeed.
