A short and beautiful observation of the River Thames, touching on the boarders of Deptford in South East London. Written and narrated by Prof. Les Back, Visual Sociology, Goldsmiths, University of London. The film was made as part of Glenn Mottershead's final Masters Degree project in Photography and Urban Cultures. (Part of the Centre for Urban and Community Research) This is one of three films that was produced and exhibited as part of a one year observation of the life within a Black Cab's green eating cabin. This project won Glenn a Masters with Merit, which he is absolutely proud of having.
