An experimental movie inspired by the work of Stan Brakhage and Man Ray. The footage for
this movie was created without a camera. Like early experiments in animated film and
innovations like photograms, it was made by placing objects (in this case a single grain of salt)
directly onto the surface of a photo-sensitive material, which in this case was a digital image sensor.
Indirect lighting and subtle movements of that sensor were used to created the footage for this movie.
Movie by C.-D. Schulz
Music: 'Night on Bald Mountain' by Modest Mussorgsky
Produced by Machinima Studios 2010
