Acceptable Losses is a film produced by a coalition of filmmakers in St. Louis, Missouri and directed and written by Bret Hoy. This teaser gives a glimpse into the final tone, look and concepts addressed in the short film script, "Acceptable Losses."
Jonathan Waters, a product of the Vietnam draft, is haunted by the memories of those he killed and couldn’t save. He’s forced from scene to scene, encountering dreamlike versions of reality as he tries to justify the violence and what he’s had to do.
If you're interested in making this film happen, contact me (Bret Hoy) at any of these locations. Even if you have no money to give, connections, locations, costumes and set design are massive hurdles that we will have to conquer to create the actual short film. Even if you're not sure how you can help, we'd love your support.
