This is the outcome of my participation in Matt Roberts' "Every Step" project as seen at the Conflux Festival in NYC last week.
The device used to capture images of the sky is an armband with a pedometer inside that triggers the camera to take a picture with "every step" (more like every 3-5 steps, but that 's ok). The images are then loaded into a Max/MSP patch that creates a soundtrack based on the RGB of each image. The device is a little clunky, aesthetically, but the concept is interesting. Not to mention that Matt is a super nice guy. :)
Here's my walk.
