Filmed July 7th between Hereford Inlet in Stone Harbor and 77th St. in Avalon, NJ.
Opening Act: Loggerhead sea turtle encounter at the mouth of Hereford Inlet. This isn't one of the terrapins that are crossing the road to lay their eggs from the bay. This is a visitor from more tropical waters.
Scene 2: A freshly born dolphin calf!! Most likely only one or two days old judging from it's nuchal folds and the fact that I was with this same pod earlier in the week and there weren't any newborns.
Scene 3: Adolescent dolphins (these 3 amigos are always together and always have tricks up their blowholes) repeatedly buzz my board with their dorsal fins.
Closing Act: An adult deliberately picks up seaweed with it's fluke.
