A 'self-portrait' video for my Intro Video class.
I filmed several clips on a DV camera, then played them back into a TV with another camera while filming the TV.
The audio (and distortion in the video) was made by patching a speak-n-spell and the audio-out from the playback camera into a mixer. The mixer's out was fed into some delay, then back into the mixer (hence the feedback noises). The FX send on the mixer was then sent into the video-in on the tv, mixing with the video-out from the playback camera using a Y-adapter. Then the main-out from the mixer was plugged into the mic-in on the recording camera. whew.
It was all done 'live'; no post editing.
